Público Alvo:	Elementary school teachers (public and private schools) and higher education teachers and other professionals interested in the topic of Lesson Study for Teacher Professional Development.
Objetivo:	The aim of this course is to acquaint the students with the philosophy of lesson study, which is teacher ownership, teacher professionalism, student learning-focused dialogue, teacher collaboration, and teacher professional community, and to provide the experience of lesson study and the opportunity to discover its value. The students of this course can: - Understand the philosophy of lesson study, - Understand how lesson study is practiced in Japan and Brazil; - Explore the factors to practice lesson study in Brazil; - Reflect on their own understanding of teacher professional development and understand the importance of teacher collaboration in teacher professional development; - Understand the procedure of lesson study and conduct it during the course.

Critérios de seleção:	● Registration order, with the first applicants selected, with complete documentation. ● Priority must be a public-school teacher working in the classroom. ● Be a working elementary school teacher (private or public school). If there are any remaining vacancies, they will be allocated to other interested parties.
Critérios de aprovação:	Participants will be assessed based on their attendance and participation in synchronous meetings and production of requested activities.
