Descrição: | Ementa: Este curso inclui os aspectos básicos teóricos e experimentais da física das radiações e sua aplicabilidade na dosimetria das radiações.
Conteúdo Programático: Radiação ionizante Grandezas físicas e interação da radiação com a matéria Atenuação exponencial Equilíbrio de partículas carregadas Dose absorvida em um meio irradiado Decaimento radioativo Interações das radiações X e gama na matéria Interações de partículas carregadas na matéria Produção e qualidade de raios-X Teoria da cavidade Fundamentos de dosimetria Câmaras de ionização Dosímetros integradores Dosimetria por detectores com modo pulsado Interação e dosimetria de nêutrons Metodologia: A disciplina fará uso de aulas expositivas abertas à discussão das idéias, com o emprego de material de apoio na forma do texto e de apresentação audiovisual.
