Description:
Basic knowledge regarding groundwater and groundwater management, in connection to water stress scenarios.

Contents:
1. Groundwater – characterization, mapping and developing.
2. Overexploitation concept.
3. Aquifer recharge management.
4. Aquifer vulnerability and pollution hazard.
5. Surface and groundwater conjunctive use.
6. Groundwater resource management.
7. Case study.

Learning activities
On-line and on-Campus classes, class assignments, field visit.

Forms of evaluation
The students must fulfil an assignment following the classes. The contents of the classes are eligible as themes for the final present a after the conclusion papers.
