| Descrição: | GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Patient based learning of neurologic and cognitive exaemination in various different neurological diseases: neuromuscular disroders, neuroinflammatory and infectious diseases, cognitive decline and dementia, movement disorders, headache, cerebrovascular diseases. COURSE OBJECTIVES The student will be able to take a neurological history and perform a complete neurological and cognitive exam The student will learn a step-by-step approach to neurological clinical reasoning (establish a syndomic diagnosis – which neurological systems are affected by the disease, a topographical diagnosis – where is the lesion located in the nervous system), to elaborate a differential diagnosis and therapeutic plan Bibliografia Machado A, Haertel LA.
