1) Normas e especificações,
2) Projeto
3) Escolha de materiais
4) Processos de soldagem,
5) Soldagem na fábrica e no campo (transporte e montagem final),
6) Consumíveis (escolha e qualificação)
7) Procedimentos de soldagem (especificação e qualificação)
8) Procedimento de qualificação do soldador
9) Tolerâncias na preparação da solda e no seu ajuste,
10) Tratamento térmico pós-soldagem,
11) Ensaios não destrutivos
